Roy Magnuson of Illinois State University released a new musical work amid the bustle of Christmas 2014, which I missed the news of until his university noted it today. “Innsmouth, Massachusetts – 1927” is on the Naxos CD label. The music, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft of course, was recorded by the Illinois State University Wind Symphony with Dan Belongia conducting. A new fledgling comics fandom online library. In the…

“pilot project, Tilley, La Barre, and Walsh will build a digital archive of materials related to comic book readership and fandom, focusing initially on materials collected from Marvel Comics publications from 1961-1973.”

So it’s sounds like they’re going to start from the Bullpen pages and FOOM and work outwards. Anyone with an especially good comics fandom collection from that period might want to contact them.
