I have a couple of those pamphlets scattered about my books…loved them.

I received this new edition of Jason Eckhardt’s chapbook last year and absolutely loved it… happily carried it with me when I made the pilgrimage to Providence.

I hadn’t heard from him, his email account had been suspended for a long time, and I had written him a letter but never got an answer.
And time passed.
I learned incidentally today that he passed away in France in March 2022 (https://www.deces-en-france.fr/resultats/26499332-michaud-paul-raymond).
He had contacted me in 2013 following an article I had dedicated to him on my blog Innsmouthmania and which told his story >>> https://innsmouthmania.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-paris-lovecraft-vit.html We were supposed to meet but the death of his wife and the covid put obstacles in the way of this project.
Back in the United States in 1977, he founded with his brother Marc, Necronomicon Press and relaunched Lovecraft in his own country where he was then forgotten. We know the rest of the story. I regret that this great man did not get the honors he deserved.
Sincerely
