There was a handy ePub edition for the first two issues of Salon Futura, but it seems to have vanished. Perhaps someone could volunteer to keep that valuable side of the magazine going?

MythosCon is coming up fast: Jan 6th – 9th 2011. Can I urge the making of audio podcasts of the panel discussions, for distribution after the event to those who can’t get to the USA?

A free audio-book of Lovecraft on Spotify, made and read by a radio pro. The delivery is a little fast, but entertaining sound FX are interwoven with the stories.

Just posted, a new hour-long podcast interview in the excellent Lovecraftian Obsession series. Episode 6 — W.H. Pugmire.

I’ve also found a new (to me) podcast called Yog Radio. It seems to be more of a Cthulhu RPG gaming thing, but also has the occasional more literary interview. And with 40+ episodes so far, there’s got to be a good few hours of non-game material in there.

I’m currently working my way through the first five Lovecraftian Obsession podcasts, the fifth of which has just been released. These are long and intelligent in-depth interviews, by author Rick Dakan, with people who really know their Lovecraft. Very enjoyable.

For other free audio, I also recently found the BBC Radio 3 “Weird Tales” documentary has been nicely fan-illustrated on YouTube.

And if you’re in the UK (and only in the UK, as the BBC website gets all huffy and fascistic if it detects you’re outside the UK) there’s a new 45 minute “In Our Time” round-table on the science and history of the exploration of Antarctica. Much more on the discovery of the science and geology than the human and technological story of the early expeditions, sadly.
