Chaosium has this week announced that… “is to publish a new edition of Daniel Harms’s Encyclopedia Cthulhiana: A Guide to Lovecraftian Horror […] Chaosium’s fourth edition will feature updated text and will be presented in a new full color, hardback format with interior art.”
No publication date, as yet.
Well, actually The Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia _is_ the 3rd edition. Chaosium published the first two as Encyclopedia Cthulhiana and Elder Signs Press did the 3rd as The Cthulhu Mythos Encyclopedia.
It is a bit misleading of Chaosium to describe it as “their” 4th edition. It is the 4th edition of the book, but it is technically their 3rd.
