Billed as… “the premier journal for devotees of adventure, mystery and melodrama in American popular culture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries”. Illustrated essays by leading scholars of the field, and the focus appears to be summed up by the cover strapline: “adventure, mystery and melodrama” in the pulps, rather than weird and science-fiction.
