Howard Andrew Jones usefully attempts to hack ‘n slash through the demon-haunted mountains to reach the “The Best Of The Conan Pastiche Novels”. It’s a short list. John Chris Hocking’s Conan and the Emerald Lotus, and Sean A. Moore’s Conan and the Grim Grey God, sound like the two I’d want to start with. Though neither appear to be available as an audiobook, regrettably.

I see from postings from the last few days that you have got into machine learning text driven art creation (hope I’m seeing that right). What software are you using?

Yes, it’s a fun experiment, but I’m not sure how long it will last. Dream by Wombo is the tool, desktop and phone, free. But the trick is not to accept the default output. Clone and Heal it in Photoshop, a little hand re-painting, all in aid of making it more like a picture. If that works… then go further and upscale with Gigapixel AI, run it through DAP autopainter, output that to a layered .PSD file. In Photoshop blend the DAP layer back to 60% over the original. Tone it, make Liquify adjustments, clone out even more distracting detail, and add the finishing touches.
Here’s an example of the raw ‘Wombo’ Conan output that I showed as a picture today. You can see how different they are…
