During my recent PoserPython script hacking and bodging I felt the need for a unified search box of the relevant core websites and forums. As such there’s now a new Technical search page on this blog. It’s early days with 20 sites indexed, and in due course I want to add a few more smaller Python sites. But it’s fairly good already. It’s not meant for finding goodies to buy, but rather for finding helpful technical information without spam, scams or sellers of snakes.

P3DO Explorer Pro 2.8 – 50% sale
P3DO Explorer Pro 2.8 is back on a 50% discount at Renderosity, for a limited time.
I’d still suggest PzDB as your first choice for indexing and searching across a large Poser/DAZ/Vue content collection, if you can afford it. But it can’t hurt to have a backup option, just in case PzDB ever stops working. For instance, I understand that PzDB 1.3 still has to ping a remote licence-server occasionally, on start-up. Which is less than it used to in version 1.2, where the ping was required at every start-up — but which is still not ideal in terms of having perpetual ‘will last forever’ software.
The 50% off seems to be part of a store-wide giant sale. A quick peep at my DAZ Store wishlist suggests a similar 50% all-site summer sale at DAZ.
The latter includes old and possibly non-working Poser utilities such as aniBlock Importer for Poser (still works?) and Send In The Clones (scatter and clone scripts), but also useful third-party software such as Michael3XprssnMagic (M3 doesn’t have many native expression packs, but he can still be useful for comics makers).
Poser/DAZ New Content Survey for Feb-May 2020
Right then, so it’s time to get the Poser/DAZ New Content Survey back on track. My last such survey being at the end of January 2020. What new content and scripts for DAZ Studio and Poser have caught my eye in the four months of February-May 2020?
As usual, freebies are only featured here if they’re commercial-use.
Science fiction:
CyBody – Cyborg Internal Structure for G8F.
Need a guard for your Sci-fi Tower? Space Runner Outfit for Genesis 8 Female and Flyboard Action Poses for Genesis 8 Male for the FlyBoard.
Or an infiltrator in the Tower? CosHero for Genesis 8 Male. There’s also an earlier Poser version of this.
Or you could just teleport to the Tower. Teleport Station. Nice work, but you’d need to check it against all variants of the Star Trek teleporter room before using commercially.
Need a teleporter FX? The new SY Invisible for Genesis 8.
In the jungles below the Tower, BugHunters for M4. Probably needs a different camo for an alien planet, though. And some wrist protection.
Your bughunter may need to be packing the AER Future Firearms: Energy Weapons.
Sixus1’s Retrospace Bundle of 1940s pulp-era sci-fi outfits.
Pulp SciFi Pistol I and Pulp SciFi Pistol II.
Jepe’s WonderPlantZ. Fabulous alien plants with a ‘gas-floater’ feel.
Data Processor DS, a retro ‘1980s pop video’ set. It shouldn’t be impossible to replace to the big monitors with something sleeker and more futuristic, though. Or even strange glowing orbs or techno-eyes.
Masks v003 MMKBG3 for DAZ Studio.
Sci-fi City modules, for free in .OBJ.
Easy Snap Universal Sea Habitat. See also the new Scene Mastery Tutorial : Underwater.
Sci-fi Hair for G3F and G8F, in the Gerry Anderson UFO to Tron Legacy style. You may also want the Cyber Neon Catsuit for Genesis 8 Female.
A Syd Mead-like Space Buggy.
Raffy Raffy has a fine new Moon lunar landscape, although for Blender rather than Vue.
Sci-fi Truck & Trailer for Poser.
Roaring out of the back of that sci-fi truck… the Desert Storm Alpha off-road vehicles. Got to get your adventurer team through the wilds of Whereizitagin to the Lost City somehow…
Secrets of Danaides Poses for Genesis 8, a useful set of explorer/investigator poses.
Fantasy and SciFi Fast Render Lights for DAZ Studio.
Steampunk:
It’s been a rich period for new steampunk content.
Grandpa’s Room by 1971s. Nicely strange, although I hope it’s not fan-art like his Balmora buildings series. Let’s hope Grandpa’s Room is the first in a similar series. I might be inclined to make it weirder still, and add the cat head from Catoon (see below) while moving the glowing disk down.
Photographer Automaton and Photographer Automaton Poses. He also has a Paperboy, Boat Captain and Solicitor.
Paperboy might be reworked as a fairground fortune-teller?
Punching Bag and Striker Game.
Iron Horse for Poser and DAZ Studio. Jet-powered! Yeee-haw!
“Son, yerr gunna need an eye-patch to ride that hoss…”
dForce Plague Doctor for Genesis 8 Male. Very impressive.
A steampunk Elevator For DAZ Studio.
Fantasy:
The Miyazaki-like Abandoned station for Poser by 1971s. Superb. Also available for DAZ Studio.
Valley Guardian. Rather nice Miyazaki-like stone ruins from The AntFarm, though distinctly over-priced.

Visiting Grandma. A free ready-made scene for those with the right 1971s props to join together.
Bone Wine for Poser and DAZ.

Head in the Stars for DAZ Studio.
Fantasy Nebulas for Poser, for the Hivewire Horse. Cosmic makeovers for your star-horse.
Kids Corner for Poser and for DAZ Studio. Also Kids BackDrop.
Whimsical Girls for Genesis 8 Female.
A free Genesis 8 dancing pose.
Toon:
Ronk, another superb Nursoda figure for Poser. And some free textures.
Vespa APE, for free in .3DS format. It’s French rather than British but is potentially a vehicle for Ronk.
Hamlet 3D, a toon piglet for Poser and DAZ.
Artephius Magnus for Ollie 8 for G8M. Similar to Nursoda’s Dr. Pitterbill, but for G8.
Catoon, a semi-toon cat with a human-like body. Great face, not so keen on the body. Perhaps needs to have it covered with a long trenchcoat and made into a gumshoe ‘private-investigator cat’.
Glasses v001 MMKBG3, including a ‘comedy disguise’ set.
Base figures:
The V.2 versions are out, for the flagship Poser 11/12 figures.
L’Homme Pro – V.2 for Poser.
Also fairly ‘base’ is Dain 8 for G8M, with lots of variants.
Newly found, 3D Celebrity Lookalikes for DAZ Studio & Poser.
Historical:
A Fantasy Ruins set in .OBJ and .FBX.
Deep Mine by ShaaraMuse3D. This looks excellent, a big modular kit with crisp 4k textures. See also the new PW Abandoned Mine.
Victorian Wash Day by DryJack, for Poser.
A British Empire District Commissioner outfit for the colonies, for Genesis 8 Male.
He probably needs some 1910s hairiness, as found in the new Alchemist Hair & Beard for Genesis 3 and 8 Males pack.

A 16th century Printers Workshop as a prop set. See also the Cobblers Workshop.
The Egyptian King for G3M and G8M and Poser L’Homme.
Stonemason’s Temple Pool.
MS20 The Crypt, a Roman-style crypt. This used to be free from Cornucopia, so check your Vue content — you may already have it.
New Orleans Garden District House with interiors and decor.
1960s Lakebed Racer for Poser.
A Space-tastic 1970s Rock God for G8M.
The free Doctor Frankenstein for M4, for Poser. Also suitable as a Chatterton-esque 19th century ‘doomed young poet’.
DryJack’s GWR Cordon Gas Tank Wagon and GWR Signal Set of classic British railway signals.
Vintage Milk Float in the British 1970s style.
A classic Fairground Carousel.

dForce Modern Romantic Outfit Texures for Modern Romantic.
Pre-drape Snood Morph for Divergence for G8F.

CWRW Red Stag for the HiveWire Mule Deer.
Three new volumes of parrots from Ken Gilliland. Also two volumes of gamebirds.

Virus:
Modern medical outfits for La Femme and L’Homme for Poser.
Toilet Paper in DAZ Studio format.
Free Quarantine Cats. Including a Nurse Cat for the HiveWire House Cat. Plus free Cat Toys.
There are also a great many facemask freebies out there.
Scripts and utilities:
P3DO Explorer Pro 2.8 for searching your runtimes. PzDB is the main alternative.
HeadShop 12.5 for La Femme and L’Homme. For fitting a custom head, made from front/side photos, to the flagship Poser figures.
L’Homme CrossDresser License…. “any supported figure to L’Homme”. Also a pack of a XD Morphs for L’Homme and CrossDresser.
‘Frame In’, for DAZ Studio. The description is in Jap-lish, but it appears that this is a ‘move in front of current camera, and frame’ script. The same maker has a ‘Look At Camera’ Script.
Hide Backyard Script! for DAZ Studio. Hides all objects that sit behind the active camera.
REM2Greyscale for your runtime. “Rem2Grey recursively converts all your REM file [Library thumbnails] to Greyscale giving you the option to add a red X overlay.” Useful, though I’d be inclined to test it on a small batch first.
A new Scatter Tool for Poser.
Tutorials:
Rendering and Lighting Solutions Workshop.
Mandelbulb 3D : The Complete Guide to Creating Infinite 3D Worlds with the free Mandelbulb3D.
DAZ Studio Fight Scenes, with Drew Spence.
That’s it, more picks soon-ish. Possibly at the end of July or start of August.
Furry fun
The iRay devs reported a few weeks ago that iRay “2020.0 final has just been released”. Strand fibers do “especially well” with the new iRay 2020 + an RTX graphics card, even fibres with dense intersections.
iRay 2020… “introduces native fiber intersection support! This delivers perfectly smooth hair, fur, carpet, and similar curve-based primitives out-of-the-box, without paying for extra memory and/or additional pre-computation time for tessellation to triangle-data!”
Good news for fur render speed and for Look At My Hair users. Though not quite yet, as the latest iRay in DAZ Studio is currently 2019.1.4. But it can’t be long until 2020.1 gets plugged in.
Several other major bits of software are also doing short hair, KeyShot 9 has its new “fuzz”, and Lightwave 2020 also adds new shaders and easier controls to its existing FiberFX.
Free cute cats
Free cute cats, delivered to your home! Nope, not an April Fools’ Day prank. HiveWire are giving away their high-quality Housecat for free until 31st May 2020, along with other goodies.
For fur also get their free LAMH Presets for the HiveWire House Cat, which are not on the new freebies page, but are free on the general store.
Tutorial: seeing the light in DAZ Studio
Those new to DAZ Studio may be especially puzzled by one aspects of the lights. For instance, it is possible to light a scene with some light preset or other, found and loaded from a Lights folder…
“Hmmm.., nice, but too dark. Let’s find its controls and tweak them up…” you might think.
Yet… no light will then be found listed in the Scene item-list. Nor will one find any light when one switches into the Lighting/Cameras tab. And yet there is obviously a light in the scene.
Where is this mysterious light, and how can it be controlled?
This type of light’s controls are actually hidden away at the bottom of the Render settings, under “Environment”, a place whose name might lead a newbie to expect anti-aliasing settings for the edges of the leaves of trees and the bumps on rocks. Nope, it’s the controls for the missing light.
As you can see, there are all sorts of tweakable sliders here, including time-of-day and intensity. There are even more when you scroll down the panel.
Get real
How to load your saved render presets in DAZ Studio
One of the big problems I’ve always had with DAZ Studio is the inability to load my saved Render presets. It’s easy enough to save them: File | Save as… | Render Settings. They are placed in the ..\content\Presets\Render folder as .DUF files.
But then they never ever show up in the Presets tab. This problem has always been there, across multiple different versions of DAZ Studio and even across different PCs. To try to solve the problem, one can copy the render preset files into every possible runtime and content folder that DAZ has access to, but still… nothing will ever show up in the panel. I assume it’s a bug.
The workaround solution is to manually find your presets in Windows Explorer and then drag-and-drop the required .DUF preset file directly onto/into the scene in DAZ Studio. With the Editor open in the Render Panel, you can see the settings change ‘live’ as you drop the .DUF onto the scene. But it would be so much easier just to have them show up in a list where they’re supposed to be.
Double it and double it again…
Using the latest DAZ Studio gives you a substantial iRay speed boost, thanks to the integration of the latest iRay version. 2x faster on CPUs, for instance. Though, as NVIDIA want to sell $500 graphics cards, you’ll only read about that in a quiet blog post from the iRay dev team.
But now I read on the forums about another way to add a further 2x boost to DAZ Studio. So long as you don’t have transparency in the scene, choosing the “Interactive” rather than “Photoreal” version of iRay in DAZ Studio should apparently give you another 2x speed-boost with minimal loss of quality. Some shadows are skipped and transparency is handled differently. But otherwise it’s a good WYSIWYG representation of what your render will look like. The advice is from someone on a fast dual-Xeon PC, but it’s something to consider re: working toward a real-time iRay viewport rather than just a Preview window. It’s easily tested on your system.
DAZ / Poser content survey: January 2020
It’s the end of January 2020 and time for another survey of new content and scripts for DAZ Studio and Poser. What goodies have slipped out in this quiet time of the year? Read on and find out…
Science fiction:
Entertainment Studio in .OBJ format. The same maker has more in a $99 pack, including a somewhat futuristic one.
10 Drones Orchid Pack, organic alien spaceships in .OBJ format.
Luminous Monster in .FBX with animations. From Invasion Studio who is producing a series of such things. They appear to be unique and not fan-art.
Fantasy:
Where do the inn’s deep cellars lead to? Why, to the PW Underworld of course…
Mrs Evil HD for Victoria 8 and Genesis 8 Female.
Historical:
Modular 3D Kits: Fantasy Library from ShaaraMuse3D. HD books, bookcases, tables and scrolls.
Ancient Greco-Roman Crowd Generator, as billboards.
RP Salty Scarlett for Genesis 8 Female.
Poser Hair ‘Em2 – Just Four Men. Dynamic Hair Room hair for M4 and Poser.
dForce Viking Maiden Outfit for G8F
Wild West Horse And Rider Poses for G8M and Horse 2, including wielding six-guns while riding.
Characters and poses:
Matilde for La Femme for Poser.
A usefully generic free ‘surfing’ pose for Genesis 8.
Toon and storybook:
Fairy hut for Poser by 1971s.
Swing Poses For Genesis 8 Female.
Noor Toolbox for Nursoda’s Noor baby (part of the Fehn bundle).
Free Fehn Eyes, for Fehn, ten of them, the default ones being very dark.
Klia for G8F, a free semi-toon character suited to storybooks.
Some nice Retro brushes for Photoshop.
Vehicles:
A classic French Citroen for Poser, likely to interest those with French style toons such as Muggie and Nos by Nursoda.
Animals:
Hivewire Kitten LAMH Preset. Requires the DAZ Studio Look At My Hair plugin.
A free Hivewire Kitten Pose, and another.
Multi-species WolfPack for Poser, with animations. They appear to be suitable for large pack scenes, once you reduce the textures a bit.
Scenery:
DGV Miniature Gardens Vol.1 TeaCups and TinCans.
Old Town Alley for DAZ Studio.
A wind-scoured canyon system for Vue, for $2.
18Gb of vegetation and waterfall and related assets for Vue, including localised mists.
Photo Props: Electric Poles from ShaaraMuse3D, with HD textures so presumably suitable for closeups of a linesman working on the wires. Also likely to interest Vue artists.
New tutorials:
Painting Over 3D Renders with Wootha.
Artbreeder: Generating new Characters with Artificial Intelligence.
Utilities and scripts:
Last month I said I wouldn’t cover any more of the burgeoning range of Genesis converter packs, but Cross Figure 0002 Character Morph and Cross Figure 0001 Character Morph look very useful and long-term. What the difference is between the two packs I just can’t figure out, though. Which is a huge barrier to a potential purchase.
HeadShop 12 for Poser La Femme and HeadShop 12 for Genesis 8.
Perspective Control for DAZ Studio. I’m fairly sure Poser already does this as standard, if this add-on is the same as Poser’s Perspective dial.
Reveal Node Type for Poser.
Finally, be aware that your CG Trader ‘Wish List’ appears to be public. I can access mine while logged out, and its not coming from the browser’s cache.
That’s it for this month. More picks next month!
HeadShop 12
The $100 HeadShop 12 plugin is “coming soon” for Poser 11. With its ‘Lovechild’ feature which seamlessly morphs between two photos, under the control of simple sliders, before producing the 3D head.
The blurb on the announcement page says the Poser version will work with “Poser LaBelle”. But I suspect that must be a translation error, and he actually means La Femme — which is Poser 11’s flagship female base figure.
HeadShop 12 is already available for DAZ Studio, at $100, and works with Genesis 2, 3 and 8.
New for DAZ and Poser, in December 2019
Time for a pick from the many items newly released for DAZ Studio and Poser in December 2019. As usual, freebies are only featured here if they have “commercial use” or are obvious fan-art.
Science Fiction:
Greetings and Gestures for Genesis 8. Usefully generic, and especially useful for military / diplomatic type sci-fi tales.
Detail Lighting for DAZ, which appears to be ‘stick and render’. Used scaled-up, it looks useful for enhancing many types of dark sci-fi scenes.
A free David Tennant for G8M including the Hair of Awesomeness, albeit with a large number of dependencies even before you go in search of suitable Tennant-era Doctor Who clothes.
A free Robin Starfighter. It’s a bit ‘Jar Jar Binks-era Star Wars‘, but I don’t think it’s fan-art.
Also a generic but detailed Sci-Fi Landing Platform for your Starfighter craft, if textured to match.
The free U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-D for Poser Pro. Vanishing Point has being doing some saucer-sep and di-lithium crystal buffing on this, and it was updated December 2019 for Poser 11. Non-commercial use, as it’s obvious Star Trek fan-art.
Moonbeam34, a fun retro sci-fi car.
Sci-Fi Scorpion Mecha. They look like toys in the previews, but scale them up to 50ft high and they’d look more impressive.
Orchid Bio-Spaceship in .OBJ format. Original design, and not game-art, it seems.
Carrier for Poser, a sci-fi creature. Spotted last month on another site, and now on Renderosity. From a number of years ago and so you’d probably want to cover up most of the unconvincing legs via some work in the Poser Hair Room. Or you could have them as the sort of creatures that live in a semi-aquatic lakeside environment, and thus have their lower legs below the water.
Fantasy:
Red chair, free in .3DS format.
Time Princess Outfit for G8F. Doesn’t appear to be dForce.
Free Touchable Furry Tail Hair Colors for the Furry Tail, although the latter now seems to have been withdrawn from sale?
Storybook:
A free dForce Wish-List scroll.
A free “Let it Snow” Xmas Bundle, being a dForce Outfit for Paige.
Nursoda’s Fehn, made with his usual quality and value-for-money.
Nursoda’s free Folomb wormy character. Commercial use, unlike some of his earlier freebies, so you could use it in a webcomic.
Bell island for Poser by 1971s. Suitable for enhancing his various floating sky-islands.
Guardian Angel Shape and Poses for Genesis 8 Female. Called a “shape” because it has multiple dependencies including Morning Star Wings, so you’d have to do a bit of shopping and work to build the full character.
A free Swing.
The free Ice Palace set for DAZ Studio.
Innocence for the dForce G8FT Dress for G8F. Which could be paired with Household Chores – Cooking for Genesis 8, being traditional kitchen cooking poses.
Historical:
Hovel for Daz and Poser, an Iron Age hut, basically. Appears to be low-poly, so you could presumably build a village or use it add variety to an existing Iron Age scene.
dForce Classic Fur Cape and Textures Bundle.
Marmara Boat, a jaunty little 16th century coastal trading ship.
Yussef Hair Beard and Eyebrows for Genesis 8 Male.
Archaeology materials for Keyshot, and the same seller also has Ancient Stone.
Landscapes, landscape structures and plants:
MS19 Thorncrown Chapel, an unusual 21st century rural chapel.
The free Plant Collection 1 for Poser.
ShaaraMuse3D’s Modular Photo Props: Old Pier.
Easy Environments: Frozen Lake for DAZ Studio.
Flinks Snowflakes. Cold crystal fluff for your snowy scenes.
Pine Bark material, in a format that looks suitable for DAZ/Poser, with a little tweaking.
ShaaraMuse3D’s Tangle World. A spooky post-fire landscape on sandy heathland, with washed out roots.
Animals:
Deepsea’s Eagle plus Aniblocks and Texture Add-On and Poses and Fish.
CWRW Calicos for the HiveWire House Cat. Nice textures, but it would be useful for the seller to say exactly how the hair was done for the main preview render. Turns out it’s the CWRW HW House Cat LAMH Preset 1, new over at the HiveWire store. So I guess they’re not allowed to say “HiveWire” on Renderosity. The HiveWire LAMH preset is free. Which is very nice of them, and that means hair on Catula too. Though of course you’d need the Look At My Hair plugin (currently 50% off, as DAZ seems to have another large sale on now).
CWRW Exotics 1 for the HiveWire House Cat. Desert / Ancient Egyptian type cats.
DA Dragonling HD for DAZ Dragon 3. Shown here without textures so you can see what you’re getting in the model.
Multiple Cattle Breeds – a figure set for Poser. 12 distinctive cattle breeds, with animations and poses. They appear to be low-poly, so you can presumably have an animated herd in the scene.
Multiple species of Fox, with what appears to be the guide-hairs for Poser Hair Room hair.
Characters:
Combined Horse And Rider Poses for G8M.
L’Homme Male Base figure for Poser Pro 11. The new official flagship male base for Poser.
SJ Hair for Genesis 8 Female, with an interesting floaty sci-fi look and also looks like it should be fast to render.
Silent Fright Set, potentially a Christmas add-on for Lenore & the Raven if you de-saturated the textures.
Fantasy Attic’s 2019 Annual Community Christmas Gifts are still online. Includes a K4 elf outfit…
And lastly Elizabeth 2 Banana Costume for Poser. Who or what was Elizabeth 2? Turns out she’s yet another new free base figure, unofficial and launched a few weeks ago. Do we really need another female base figure? Why not just tweak the perfectly good La Femme instead?
Utilities, add-ons:
There are too many converter systems for Genesis variants now, to keep up with. Check the DAZ Store if you’re interested in converting from/to all the different Genesis types, props and poses. The next edition of DAZ Studio might usefully bypass them all, by including its own auto mega-verter plugin. Wasn’t that the original point of the Genesis system, that everything was supposed to work seamlessly with everything?
The P.A.S.S. Watercolour Shaders for Poser have turned up on the ArtStation store. For free. Suitable for Poser 10 / 2014 onward, and likely to suit advanced Poser users only. Formerly sold at RuntimeDNA.
Poser – Rule of Thirds. A simple free geometry (.OBZ) that replaces the standard Poser Depth-of-Field guide with a new version that also shows the rule-of-thirds.
FLUIDOS II for DAZ Studio. Fluids simulation plugin, faster than the first version. Windows and Mac.

Release: P3DO Pro 2.7 – adds DAZ indexing
The new P3DO Pro 2.7 was released a few days ago. One of several third-party indexers and content-managers for for Poser, P3DO Pro now has a DUF parser, for a partial indexing of the newer type of DAZ Studio files. P3DO Pro costs $25 for a two-year licence.
Update: The licence is a little confusing, but the maker clarifies it in a comment to this blog…
“P3DO keys don’t expire. Once you have acquired a key you will be able to use that version without duration limit. It is the ability to upgrade to a newer version which is not possible after a given time. Those two years you are referring to is the minimal time with free upgrades [to the user].”
P3DO Pro’s main rival PzDB 1.3 had partial DAZ indexing some years ago, along with iClone and Vue items. The PzDB licence never expires and 1.3 is currently on a discount at $56. However, if you only need a vast Poser runtime indexing then I’d suggest 1.2 is the better and perfectly good option, and it’s also significantly cheaper at $32.
If you can’t afford either, take a look at the free Everything.
“Two Doctors! Blimey, time paradoxes will start to form…”
A new free David Tennant for G8M, slightly stylised but in a nice semi-toon way and with The Hair reasonably well done. Released a week ago, but the maker has just today fixed something possibly a bit vital and the .zip file… “now has the character .duf file.”
In this regeneration the Doctor does however have a large amount of dependencies. The underlying base is a… “morph with a Character Preset that uses a Skin Material found in Edward 8”. Then there’s The Hair. So the full list of dependencies are…
Edward 8 for G8M, and you may also want the Edward 8 HD Add-On though the latter is not required.
Super Natural Brows Merchant Resource for Genesis 8 and 3 Male, “with the Shape Preset of Super Natural Brows | Style 33”.
CC Beard Boss for Genesis 8 Male, “with the Brown Material and ‘Shaping -> Sides’ preset of CC Beard Boss ‘Short Burns’ with Materials 02 Brunettes -> CC Beard Boss – 02 Brunettes – 02”.
Tousled Hair for Genesis 3 and 8, “with the Brown Materials set.”
Phew. Quite a haul, but worth it for the Hair of Awesomeness, and the Sideburns of Sublimity. Or the best you can get for those in DAZ, without actually having David Tennant land inside the software with the TARDIS. Now there’s a plot idea, for one of the continuing Tennant audiobooks (10th Doctor Adventures from Big Finish)…
You’ll be wanting suitable Daleks and other Doctor Who items too, for which see my Doctor Who: DAZ and Poser content survey.
Current DAZ Freebies – updated
The Current DAZ Freebies page has updated with new items.
DM’s scene/lights combos are always worth having, especially the lights. And free here is his garden-nook DM Retreat (inc. Poser version), plus a matching storybook Genesis 2 outfit with matching hair — the hair includes both a Poser .CR2 and Poser CFs.
Also, the Anime Starter Bundle gives you the Aiko 4 Base and Hiro 4 Base figures for free, these being for V4.2 and M4 respectively. Plus some interesting-looking stylised anime Xell hair that I hadn’t noticed before.
Also the Freak 5 Action Poses. Which, being Genesis 1, will presumably also be taken more-or-less by other G1-G3 ‘big lad’ characters and robots. Includes Poser CF .zip.
