Ugh. An utterly foul new dumbed-down posting system, just introduced on all WordPress.com blogs. The only way to avoid it, for now, is to go to your main Dashboard, and select “Add new” from the left-hand sidebar. That takes you to the grown-up version of the posting form.

Thanks gawd, they’ve seen sense and allowed a ‘use classic mode’ setting. Why do people have to tinker with services that are working perfectly fine? Flickr has already been totally ruined in terms of usability for anyone without superfast broadband. I’d hate to see WordPress go that same way.
