The market features in my novel The Spyders of Burslem, and until relatively recently it was still a reality in the town. After a hiatus, I’m pleased to see that it’s coming back in 2018/19. Council gives Burslem weekly market the green light. It’ll be on Wednesdays, and apparently will be an afternoon market.
