Thanks for the info. Apparently St. Ives has or had a display of “Staffordshire Figures and Corn Dollies”. I wonder if these and the mermaid – and possibly other similar figures and dolls – might be brought together for an exhibition at the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, at some point?
