where can one see this painting?
I did a bit of research and apparently it’s at the Potteries Museum, presumably in the storage section. According to British and Irish Paintings in Public Collections it should be one of these two:
Call number 1997.inv.no.57.1952(b)
Call number 1997.inv.no.87.1954.
I know were this is.
I have this picture, and also “Wedgwood’s Old Mill on the Jenkins”.
Thanks, that’ll be “The Jenkins”, a patch near to where Burslem Town Hall stands today. Evidently it one had a windmill-tower on it.
