This is what the issues looked like (from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebay.com\/itm\/Two-Scarce-Issues-DRIFTWIND-1932-33-HP-LOVECRAFT-Coblentz-WALTER-COATES-Derleth-\/360731350873\">a new eBay listing<\/a>)&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/driftwind.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/driftwind.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"driftwind\" width=\"529\" height=\"390\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9080\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chris Perridas also has <a href=\"http:\/\/chrisperridas.blogspot.co.uk\/search\/label\/Driftwind\">other different covers on show<\/a>, grabbed from eBay over the years.<\/p>\n<p>The East Montpelier Historical Society has online <a href=\"http:\/\/eastmontpelierhistoricalsociety.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/driftwind.pdf\">a detailed historical essay<\/a> on the magazine and its editor, including several photographs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.findagrave.com\/cgi-bin\/fg.cgi?page=gr&amp;GRid=56914953\">Find a Grave<\/a> has other photographs of Walter J. Coates, from the family&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/walter-j-coates.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/walter-j-coates.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"walter-j-coates\" width=\"529\" height=\"793\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-9081\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>His 250-copy limited edition of his own poetry, <em>Mood Songs<\/em> (1921), is <a href=\"http:\/\/babel.hathitrust.org\/cgi\/pt?id=loc.ark:\/13960\/t6sx6s50x;view=2up;seq=5\">now scanned and online<\/a>.
