One of the better voices, kind of like a somewhat harsh and staccato Gordon Gould (expert reader of Lovecraft for &#8216;Books for the Blind&#8217;, back in the day). But then, what can one expect&#8230; it <em>is<\/em> a robot.  But such things might be fixed by downloading and then using a good desktop PC audio player (such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aimp.ru\/?do=download\">AIMP<\/a>) to adjust speed, pitch etc.<\/p>\n<p>I found the following to work well with AIMP and proper headphones:<\/p>\n<p>Speed: 0.97<\/p>\n<p>Pitch: -1.66 st<\/p>\n<p>And this graphic equaliser setting&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/nyar-set.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/nyar-set.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"342\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-61800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/nyar-set.jpg 632w, https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/nyar-set-528x342.jpg 528w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 528px) 100vw, 528px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then it just needs the maker to do a re-recording of the few seconds where the AI stumbles over Lovecraft&#8217;s 18th century diction (TTS voices can usually handle a special in-text markup, which can help correct such things, or you can just &#8216;tweek du spellhing&#8217;).
