A London weekly, so Lovecraft likely didn&#8217;t read it &mdash; unless perhaps the Providence Public Library took it for their Reading Rooms. But still useful today for getting a quick overview of &#8216;the currents of culture and concerns&#8217; in any particular year, and with the British perspective which Lovecraft usually favoured.<\/p>\n<p>Regrettably Archive.org won&#8217;t accept an inbound Web link formed as&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><em>https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/pub_saturday-review-uk?tab=collection&#038;sort=-date<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Instead it auto-reverts, in a very annoying way, to filtering the collection by the pointless &#8220;weekly views&#8221; instead. So you&#8217;ll have to re-filter the issues by &#8220;date published&#8221; to make any sense of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/satreview.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/satreview.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"424\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-60927\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/satreview.jpg 842w, https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/satreview-528x424.jpg 528w, https:\/\/jurn.link\/tentaclii\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/satreview-768x617.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 528px) 100vw, 528px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Not the same as the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/the-saturday-review-of-literature-v-01n-02-1924-08-09\"><em>Saturday Review of Literature<\/em><\/a> which Lovecraft&#8217;s friend Vrest Orton was associated with.
