It&#8217;s good to be able to put a face to the name of the man I encountered while writing my book on McNeil.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/patri.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/patri.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"775\" height=\"945\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-52416\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Patri certainly championed McNeil in reviews and articles, and (though we&#8217;ll probably never know now) I suspect they were friends in New York by around the time of the appearance of McNeil&#8217;s <em>Tonty<\/em> novel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New on Archive.org is a run of the journal Atlantica.
