Newly listed at Hippocampus, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hippocampuspress.com\/classics-of-gothic-horror\/phantasmagoria-the-weird-fiction-poetry-and-criticism-of-sir-walter-scott\">Phantasmagoria: The Weird Fiction, Poetry, and Criticism of Sir Walter Scott<\/a><\/em>. As I noted here recently, Scott was an influence on Lovecraft at a formative time (and probably also on Tolkien as well, in his interweaving of high and low culture).
