M. Eddy, Jr. and H. P. Lovecraft.  The short tale is now presumably also available for YouTube audio recordings and adaptation into comics, animation etc.<\/p>\n<p>Originally published in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/WeirdTalesV05N04192504\/page\/n25\/mode\/2up\"><em>Weird Tales <\/em>for April 1925<\/a>, and there credited to Eddy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/deaf.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/deaf.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"263\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-44286\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Joshi&#8217;s considered option in <em>I Am Providence<\/em> was that Eddy likely wrote the first draft of the tale, and Lovecraft then revised this &#8220;around February 1924, just prior to his move to New York&#8221;.
