It&#8217;s tucked into the side of a 1906 bird&#8217;s eye view of the Brown Campus, possibly made from a balloon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/brown-university-providence-rhode-island.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/brown-university-providence-rhode-island.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"339\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-41061\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tucked into the corner we just about get a glimpse of No. 66, set back from the road on its unpaved lane.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/brown-university-providence-rhode-island-detail.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/brown-university-providence-rhode-island-detail.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-41062\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here we see Lovecraft at the top of the steps leading up to his front door, these steps possibly appearing as a smudge on the postcard.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/hat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/hat.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"261\" height=\"384\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33948\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Judging by the eBay photo, the card was slightly clipped at both edges by the seller. So, since it was only a mere $5 with international postage&#8230; I bagged it.
