Thanks to Archive.org uploaders for the <em>Weird Tales<\/em> scans.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/wind.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/wind.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"280\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-35288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>April 1925 first appearance.<\/p>\n<p>June 1929 reprint appearance.<\/p>\n<p>(Now defunct PDFs, seek the pages on Archive.org).<\/p>\n<p>Note the broad similarity to Lovecraft&#8217;s &#8220;Erich Zann&#8221; (1921, <em>National Amateur<\/em> 1922), which saw a reprint in the May 1925 <em>Weird Tales<\/em>, a month after Owen&#8217;s &#8220;The Wind&#8221;.
