This is what <em>Driftwind<\/em> would have looked like as Lovecraft opened his mail in November 1931.  This particular issue had a checklist that included some of his own publications.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/driftwind.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/driftwind.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"825\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-34393\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>More covers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/index.php\/2013\/09\/09\/driftwind-and-walter-j-coates\/\">here<\/a> and a picture of the editor Walter J. Coates.<\/p>\n<p>And a June 1937 <em>Pantagraph<\/em>, with a Lovecraft-tribute fan-poem on the cover.  The *** .. *** is presumably meant to call attention to the implicit evocation of Lovecraft.  A such it&#8217;s another item for a possible <em>Encyclopedia of H.P.
