Tolkien scholars now have the equivalent of Joshi&#8217;s useful book <em>Lovecraft&#8217;s Library<\/em>, listing exactly what was known to be in the master&#8217;s library or &#8216;known to have been read&#8217;.  It&#8217;s a hefty 466 pages and fully annotated.<\/p>\n<p>Other interestingly bookish talks at the big <a href=\"https:\/\/luiyo.net\/blog\/2019\/08\/tolkien-2019-in-birmingham\/\">Birmingham Tolkien event<\/a> in 2019, now online: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=1JWxcUQF5cY\">Wayne G.
