I guess that makes sense, as such a date would allow the film-makers to layer in several political subtexts from the period, re: hippy LSD psychedelia, Vietnam defoliants, the anti-DDT books such as <em>Silent Spring<\/em> etc.  In terms of audiences, such a period would also bring it closer to the era of popular shows such as <em>Stranger Things<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/cage.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/tentaclii\/oldimages\/cage.jpg?w=529\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"349\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-29757\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The world premiere is at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiff.net\/events\/color-out-of-space\">Toronto International Film Festival<\/a>, which is September 2019.
