With covers and some tables of contents. It&#8217;s not comprehensive but lays out what you might find cheaply and has useful brief assessments.  Note that some of the book covers may not be &#8220;safe for work&#8221;, in these prudish days.<\/p>\n<p>Another new survey is a detailed evaluation by <em>The Pulp Hermit<\/em> of <a href=\"http:\/\/pulphermit.blogspot.com\/2019\/06\/bronze-shadows.html\">the run of <em>Bronze Shadows<\/em><\/a>, the ground-breaking early <em>Doc Savage<\/em> \/ <em>Shadow<\/em> fanzine which ran for 15 issues in the 1960s.  Altus Press also has an evaluation of its place in history, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.altuspress.com\/bronze-shadowsmoon-man\/\">&#8220;Bronze Shadows &amp; The Moon Man&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Also in the category of <em>retrospectiva<\/em> posts, Murray Ewing has a new long post in which he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.murrayewing.co.uk\/mewsings\/2019\/06\/08\/chariots-of-the-gods-by-erich-von-daniken\/\">revisits Erich von Daniken&#8217;s influential <em>Chariots of the Gods?<\/em><\/a> book and its claims&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Von Daniken\u2019s own method mostly consists of rhetoric rather than proof.
