The Cerne Abbas Giant was probably first constructed in the late Anglo-Saxon period, according to&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;a new state-of-the-art sediment analysis by National Trust archaeologists&#8221;.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>They&#8217;ve concluded the giant can have been made no earlier than 700 A.D.
