Tolkien, Scholar: A Journey through the World of Middle English&#8221;<\/a>. A good scan of the <em>Middle English Vocabulary<\/em> featured in the catalogue can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.org\/details\/middleenglishvoc00tolkuoft\/page\/n3\/mode\/2up\">on Archive.org<\/a> for free.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/spyders\/wp-content\/uploads\/tolk-dict.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/spyders\/wp-content\/uploads\/tolk-dict.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"483\" height=\"352\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-18600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/spyders\/wp-content\/uploads\/tolk-dict.jpg 483w, https:\/\/jurn.link\/spyders\/wp-content\/uploads\/tolk-dict-300x219.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>* A book I missed noticing, back in April, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3MjshSQ\">Lembas Extra 2024: &#8220;Evil in Ea&#8221; &#8211; Proceedings of the Unquendor Tolkien Seminar 2024<\/a><\/em> (2025). The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unquendor.nl\/?page_id=1357\">Unquendor website menus<\/a> suggest <em>Lembas Extra<\/em> stopped in 2019. But (thanks to Yandex&#8217;s indexing of euro-sites neglected by other engines), search reveals <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unquendor.nl\/?p=4932\">there is a 2024 issue page<\/a> on the site, and this usefully has purchase details. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tolkienshop.com\/contents\/en-uk\/p11875.html\">Dutch Tolkien shop<\/a> also appears to have copies still for sale. I can find no contents-list online, but it&#8230; &#8220;contains articles by Renee Vink and Claudio Testi, among others. With an introduction by Hamish Williams.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>* David Bratman <a href=\"https:\/\/kalimac.blogspot.com\/2025\/11\/another-tolkien-review-if-you-want-it.html\">reviews the new Tolkien book<\/a>, <em>The Bovadium Fragments<\/em> (2025).<\/p>\n<p>* In the first issue of the new open-access California Baptist University student journal <em>Immersed: A Journal of Faith, Arts, and Letters<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbuopenpublishing.org\/index.php\/immersed\/article\/view\/137\"><em>&#8220;The Lord of the Rings<\/em>: Intersectionality between Theology and Ecocriticism in Middle-earth&#8221;<\/a>. This&#8230; &#8220;argues that Tolkien\u2019s mythos offers a model of ecocentric stewardship grounded in reverence and humility.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>* The Acton Institute has a long article on <a href=\"https:\/\/rlo.acton.org\/archives\/127744-lewis-and-tolkiens-war-against-grimdark.html\">&#8220;Lewis and Tolkien\u2019s War Against Grimdark&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>* Flagged as &#8220;new&#8221; on the Signum University site, they can now offer <a href=\"https:\/\/blackberry.signumuniversity.org\/signum-tutorials\/\">&#8220;mentorship and tutoring tailored to your academic plans&#8221;<\/a>. They also have <a href=\"https:\/\/blackberry.signumuniversity.org\/space\/modules\/month\/2026-01\/student\/all\/\">a new January 2026 page for online short-courses<\/a>, set to include &#8220;The Poetic Corpus of J.R.R. Tolkien: The Later Poems 3 (Volume 3: The Years 1931-1967)&#8221;, and they&#8217;ve posted dates for <a href=\"https:\/\/blackberry.signumuniversity.org\/moots\/mythmoot-2026\/\">Mythmoot XIII 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>* And finally, <em>Tumnus&#8217; Bookshelf<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/narniafans.com\/2025\/11\/tumnus-bookshelf-the-narniafans-book-reviews-john-ronalds-dragons-the-story-of-jrr-tolkien-by-caroline-mcalister-and-eliza-wheeler\/amp\/\">reviews<\/a> the children&#8217;s 48-page storybook <em>John Ronald&#8217;s Dragons: The Story of J.R.R. Tolkien<\/em> (2017).
