Includes, among others&#8230; &#8220;Tolkien on Kennings and the River-(woman\u2019s) Daughter&#8221; and &#8220;Fathoming the Mathom-house: Museums and Material Heritage in Tolkien\u2019s Legendarium&#8221;, plus book reviews including a review of <em>Germanic Heroes, Courage, and Fate: Northern Narratives of J.R.R. Tolkien\u2019s Legendarium<\/em>. Freely available online. <\/p>\n<p>* The contents are now known for <em>Tolkien&#8217;s Medievalism in Ruins: The Function of Relics and Ruins in Middle-earth<\/em>, due out later this week as an expensive academic book. Non-videogame chapter titles include, among others&#8230; &#8220;Ruins of Past Tongues: Tolkien&#8217;s Timeless Philology&#8221;; &#8220;&#8216;What do you Elf eyes see?&#8217; Perceiving Ruin in Middle-earth&#8221;; and &#8220;The Blade of the King: Tolkien, Arthur, and the Remnants of Kingship&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>* In the latest edition of the Spanish journal <em>Scripta Theologica<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/revistas.unav.edu\/index.php\/scripta-theologica\/article\/view\/53793\">a short review of the Spanish translation of Holly Ordway&#8217;s <em>Tolkien&#8217;s Faith: A Spiritual Biography<\/em><\/a>. Freely available online.<\/p>\n<p>* The <em>Tolkien Collector&#8217;s Guide<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tolkienguide.com\/modules\/newbb\/viewtopic.php?post_id=64592#forumpost64592\">reviews <em>The Bovadium Fragments<\/em><\/a>. One aspect of the book I wasn&#8217;t aware of is that&#8230; &#8220;there are excerpts from and mentions of various letters&#8221;, presumably letters of relevance to Tolkien&#8217;s theme.<\/p>\n<p>* In Italian, a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WKO23UpWFNw\">one-hour and very echo-ey recording<\/a> of a live event featuring the President of the Italian Association of Tolkien Studies in conversation with Paolo Nardi.<\/p>\n<p>* The young Tolkien in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deviantart.com\/gnome-the-artist\/art\/Battle-1251825999\">&#8220;Battle&#8221;<\/a>, a new picture by Gnome-the-artist on DeviantArt.<\/p>\n<p>* The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unquendor.nl\/?tribe_events=unquendor-lustrum\">45th Lustrumfeest<\/a>, to be held in the Netherlands in June 2026. The guest of honour is to be the founder of the German Tolkien Society.<\/p>\n<p>* And finally, an American-style cartographic map of <a href=\"https:\/\/collections.lib.uwm.edu\/digital\/collection\/agdm\/id\/36961\/\">Western Middle Earth in the Fourth Age<\/a>.
