Tolkien<\/em><\/a> (2024). Freely available online.<\/p>\n<p>* A new edition of the scholarly Spanish Tolkien journal <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sociedadtolkien.org\/premio-ensayo-aelfwine\/\">Aelfwine<\/a><\/em>. Includes the English essay &#8220;Middle-earth Without Clovers: Unveiling the Myth of \u2018Celticism\u2019 in Tolkien&#8221;. Freely available online.<\/p>\n<p>* <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chansonetoiles.com\/p\/jung-campbell-tolkien-and-the-christian\">&#8220;Jung, Campbell, Tolkien, and the Christian Moral Vision&#8221;<\/a>. An old essay dug up from 20+ years ago, and now freely republished online.<\/p>\n<p>* A forthcoming conference strand will be on <a href=\"https:\/\/ideasworthsaving.org\/\">&#8220;Hobbits in the 25th century: enjoying Tolkien&#8217;s Legendarium into the Future&#8221;<\/a>. Perhaps partly interesting in relation to the likelihood of a specialist AI ingesting and then &#8217;embodying&#8217; all of a writer&#8217;s letters, works, and essays. A related topic of discussion at the event is &#8220;AI and the future of literary preservation&#8221;. Abstracts are due before 1st January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>* A December 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sussexfolktalecentre.org\/2024\/11\/22\/we-will-be-open-again-for-submissions\/\">call for submissions to <em>Gramarye<\/em> <\/a>, the journal of the venerable Chichester Centre for Fairy Tales, Fantasy and Speculative Fiction. Deadline 21st March 2025.
