It had been free on publication, but was then taken behind the paywall.  Now it&#8217;s free again.  Those seeking more writing on the topic should look at Henry Lowood&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/library.stanford.edu\/depts\/hasrg\/film\/machinima_bibliography.html\">bibliography on machinima<\/a>, and also my own <a href=\"http:\/\/myclone.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/06\/machinina-bibliography-2011.pdf\">more recent machinima bibliography<\/a> which covers publications from 2007-2011.
