Google changed something.  I have now amended the instructions to work with their new code.  What follows <strong>works<\/strong> at 20th July&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Open Firefox.  Go to the top menu bar | Tools | Addons | <a href=\"http:\/\/adblockplus.org\/en\/\">Adblock Plus<\/a> | Options<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong>  In your Filter option add&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>www.google.com##BUTTON[class=&#8221;esw eswd&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don&#8217;t<\/strong> be tempted to add a &#8220;http:\/\/&#8221; in front.  Save and exit the Adblock Plus options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong>  Restart Firefox.  The distracting animated buttons are gone.
