Removed eight ejournal titles from the Directory, and removed eight from the main JURN index:&mdash; <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>MIT Electronic Journal of Middle East Studies (seems to have been removed from the web)<\/p>\n<p>The American Editor (articles are now members-only)<\/p>\n<p>Japan Book Review (removed from the search-engine site-index &#8211; the new URL can no longer be indexed without bringing in all Japan Society pages)<\/p>\n<p>Indigenous Peoples Journal of Law, Culture and Resistance (seems to have been removed from the web)<\/p>\n<p>United States Naval War College Review (TOCs seem to have been removed from the web, but PDFs are still there and indexed)<\/p>\n<p>Journal of Language and Literature (domain left unpaid, and then hijacked)<\/p>\n<p>Critical Literacy: Theories and Practices (dead domain)<\/p>\n<p>transtext(e)s transcultures : Journal of Global Cultural Studies (dead domain)<\/p>\n<p>Journal of Chinese Australia (seems to have been removed from the web)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If anyone knows the online whereabouts of the vanished journals, please leave a comment on this blog post.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I used Linkbot to check the entire JURN Directory page for dead links.
