Solution in Excel 2007:<\/p>\n
1. Select just the hyperlinked cell.<\/p>\n
2. Top bar | Home | go along to the far end of the bar, where the \u201cSort and Find\u201d is. Next to this is \u201cClear\u201d and there you select \u201cClear Formats\u201d. That should do it. You now have plain text in your cell, and it\u2019s no longer a live hyperlink. Later versions of MS Office Excel also added a \u201cClear Hyperlinks\u201d option here, at the foot of the \u201cClear\u201d selection options. But here we\u2019re assuming you\u2019re stuck with good olde 2007.<\/p>\n
