No more GIFs, many of which still seem to get past GIF-blockers in the form of other formats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to hide all animated GIFs in Facebook comments:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This blocking option has been in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fbpurity.com\/\">FBP Web browser addon<\/a> since v.29.0 (May 2019), though it&#8217;s well-hidden.  It&#8217;s found in the &#8220;Font, Colour &amp; Design&#8221; section of the FBP options screen, where almost no-one would think to look for it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Install FBP and re-start the Web browser. Visit Facebook, locate the icon at the top of the Facebook page that launches the FBP control panel.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2019\/12\/fbp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2019\/12\/fbp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"360\" height=\"63\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23211\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Find and open the \u201cFont, Colour &amp; Design\u201d section on the left-hand side. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2019\/12\/hide-animated.gifs_.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2019\/12\/hide-animated.gifs_.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"307\" height=\"730\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23213\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Tick &#8220;Hide Animated Gifs&#8221;. Save settings, and exit the control panel.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Reload your Web browser and test on an especially annoying Facebook Group.
