So far, it has managed to photograph more than 140,000 complete manuscripts, for a total of more than 50,000,000 handwritten pages &#8230; 2,000 out of the 6,000 manuscripts digitize[d] in Iraq between 2009 and 2014 have been lost or destroyed. Other manuscripts digitized in Syria may have suffered the same fate.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hmml.org\/support-our-mission.html\">Hill Museum and Manuscript Library<\/a> has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vhmml.org\/readingRoom\/view\/132897\">Virtual Reading Room<\/a> in which one can browse images of treasured books and pages, such as this 6th-10th gospel from a monastery in Tigray in Ethiopia&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2017\/04\/tigrayethiopia.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/2017\/04\/tigrayethiopia.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"355\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-19117\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also note their large <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vhmml.org\/lexicon\">Lexicon of Manuscript Studies<\/a>, among the many other features of the website.
