{"id":17187,"date":"2016-05-13T12:50:30","date_gmt":"2016-05-13T11:50:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jurnsearch.wordpress.com\/?p=17187"},"modified":"2016-05-13T12:50:30","modified_gmt":"2016-05-13T11:50:30","slug":"ansinet-removed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jurn.link\/jurnsearch\/index.php\/2016\/05\/13\/ansinet-removed\/","title":{"rendered":"ANSInet removed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20161222020349\/https:\/\/scholarlyoa.com\/publishers\/\">Beall\u2019s List<\/a> -listed publisher Asian Network for Scientific Information (ANSInet) no longer has titles in the DOAJ, they were yesterday removed from JURN.  <\/p>\n<p>I note that MDPI&#8217;s journal titles remain in the DOAJ, and thus remain in JURN (via indexing their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/journal\/animals\/special_issues\">&#8220;special issues&#8221; pages<\/a> only). <\/p>\n<p>So far as I&#8217;m aware, these were the only two &#8216;Beall-questioned&#8217; publishers in JURN. Although Beall has sometimes <a href=\"https:\/\/scholarlyoa.com\/?s=+MDPI\">nibbled at the MDPI<\/a>, I note that they were removed November 2015 and the MDPI is no longer on his current List.<\/p>\n<p>The only real loss, as regards ANSInet and JURN&#8217;s comprehensive coverage of eco titles, is their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ansinet.com\/jindex.php?issn=1812-5387\">Plant Pathology Journal<\/a>.
