You might think: &#8220;Oh no, not <em>more<\/em> generic SF corridors!&#8221;.  Until you see the quality of the texturing, the wear and the detailing that Stonemason always gives to his scenes.  Section 04 also comes with an optional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/sections-05-and-06-textures-for-section-04\">Sections 05 and 06 Textures pack<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/section4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/section4.jpg\" alt=\"section4\" width=\"195\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4885\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Need corridor guards? The new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/112146\/?AID=4737\">Quadra<\/a> (Poser 9+ only, it seems) could look rather good, though it might need to have some wear applied over the textures, in order to match Stonemason&#8217;s look&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/quadra.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/quadra.jpg\" alt=\"quadra\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4886\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Need somewhere for your corridors to go to?  Petipet&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/sci-fi-lab\">Sci-fi Lab<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/petilab.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/petilab.jpg\" alt=\"petilab\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4887\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(Note that 1971s has a nice steampunk take on the same lab idea, this month: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/112243\/?AID=4737\">Steampunk area B<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Also in sci-fi, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/titan-suit-texture-expansion-set\">Titan Suit Texture Expansion Set<\/a> gives a new look to the various versions of the popular Titan Suit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/titan.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/titan.jpg\" alt=\"titan\" width=\"289\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4888\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>Alessandro&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/koala-by-am\">Koala Bear<\/a> shows how far we&#8217;ve come in just the last five years in getting quality animals into the DAZ\/Poser ecosystem.  Requires <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/look-at-my-hair\">Look At My Hair<\/a>, for which the koala comes with fur presets. A Koala environment is also available this month, too, with Alessandro releasing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/australian-outback\">Australian Outback environment<\/a> (note this is also in .obj, Vue users) and a pack of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/rpc-volume-4-australian-outback\">extra Australian outback plants<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/koala.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/koala.jpg\" alt=\"koala\" width=\"237\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4889\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/outback.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/outback.jpg\" alt=\"outback\" width=\"300\" height=\"229\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4890\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vue sci-fi artists have a couple of new items of alien fauna this month, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornucopia3d.com\/purchase.php?item_id=14036\">the Velveteen Bag Worm<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornucopia3d.com\/purchase.php?item_id=14035\">Ray Snake<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/raysnake.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/raysnake.jpg\" alt=\"raysnake\" width=\"300\" height=\"110\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4892\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bagworm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bagworm.jpg\" alt=\"bagworm\" width=\"300\" height=\"106\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4893\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Vue users also have a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cornucopia3d.com\/purchase.php?item_id=14043\">fine woodland stream setting<\/a> from Luigi Marini&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/stream.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/stream.jpg\" alt=\"stream\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4894\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t spot much that&#8217;s unusual or unique for fantasy lovers this month, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/halfway-up-the-mountain\">Halfway Up the Mountain<\/a> scene is perhaps one of the best takes on the idea that I&#8217;ve seen.  If you need a vast panorama with a cast of thousands assaulting a mountain stronghold, then this might be the one.  Just add a cult of crazed monks casting defensive spells, squadrons of attack-serpents, and a small army of armoured mountain trolls.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/mountain.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/mountain.jpg\" alt=\"mountain\" width=\"640\" height=\"382\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4895\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>A standout standalone semi-toon character this month is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/112164\/?AID=4737\">She Gini<\/a>, a sort of robot version of the famous original Ball-joint Doll.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/gini.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/gini.jpg\" alt=\"gini\" width=\"162\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4896\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/anemone-for-genesis-2-female-s\">Anemone for Genesis 2 Female<\/a>.  Nicely designed, and subtly semi-toon, she&#8217;s more detailed than she seems at first glance.  Anemone would probably work rather well in a comic-strip or point-&#8216;n-click game set under the sea.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/anem.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/anem.jpg\" alt=\"anem\" width=\"300\" height=\"293\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4891\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111792\/?AID=4737\">Twiggy<\/a> is a quality standalone toon character, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111827\/\">an outfit<\/a> already&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/twiggy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/twiggy.jpg\" alt=\"twiggy\" width=\"300\" height=\"251\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4897\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/clothing.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/clothing.jpg\" alt=\"clothing\" width=\"217\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4898\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>Vintage era items this month include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/vintage-television-sets\">Vintage Television Sets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/vintagetv.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/vintagetv.jpg\" alt=\"vintagetv\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4899\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also a nicely detailed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/vintage-piano-room\">Vintage Piano Room<\/a>.  Plenty of possibilities here for Christmas scenes, or even for a story-book tale such as a &#8220;mouse adventure&#8221; set around and inside the piano.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/piano.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/piano.jpg\" alt=\"piano\" width=\"229\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4900\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hivewire3d.com\/musica-fantasia.html\">Musica Fantasia<\/a> is a new classic violin, which might accompany the piano. And fantasy \/ faery \/ Ancient Greece \/ mythological artists might note that it also has a detailed set of pan-pipes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/violin.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/violin.jpg\" alt=\"violin\" width=\"119\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4901\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And to play the piano\/violin? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/112097\/?AID=4737\">Nalfaar iRay<\/a> is a new DAZ Studio 4.8 standalone update of a classic older male character&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/irayolder.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/irayolder.jpg\" alt=\"irayolder\" width=\"262\" height=\"267\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4902\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>Lastly, some poses.  It&#8217;s not every day we get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/i13-50-essential-sports-poses\">five &#8220;riding a bicycle poses&#8221;<\/a>, which are in the new 50 Essential Sports Poses pack.  Note it seems that these are only compatible with the new Genesis 3 Female.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bike.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bike.jpg\" alt=\"bike\" width=\"261\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4903\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I also see that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/vendors\/MightyMite?AID=4737\">MightyMite<\/a> has started a whole series of classic superhero comic-book poses, which may be a useful time-saver for some.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it, more next month!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s my personal monthly pick of October&#8217;s releases for Daz Studio and Poser (and a couple for Vue).
