Time for another monthly survey of the most interesting scenes and props for Poser and DAZ Studio.  <\/p>\n<p>Are you back from your summer holidays?  Then slip on the ol&#8217; fuzzy slippers and relax with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/the-cosy-kitsch-living-room-props\">Cosy Kitsch Living Room Props<\/a> for the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/a-cozy-kitsch-living-room\">A Cozy Kitsch Living Room<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/kitsh.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/kitsh.jpg\" alt=\"kitsh\" width=\"293\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4763\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Want to quickly fake some summer holiday photos, showing yourself in amazing locations? You might need some new exotic Poser\/DAZ settings, then.  Aurelio&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/venice\">Venice<\/a> for instance, puts you in a gondola on the lagoon at Venice&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/venice.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/venice.jpg\" alt=\"venice\" width=\"300\" height=\"205\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4764\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>His Venice might be used with a hazy background made with 1971s&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111083\/?AID=4737\">Coastal Pier set<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Or how about a trip to Chinatown? Only <em>this<\/em> is Stonemason&#8217;s fantastic new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/chinatown\">Chinatown<\/a>, done in the same high-rise style as his classic early sci-fi cityscapes. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/chinatown.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/chinatown.jpg\" alt=\"chinatown\" width=\"300\" height=\"221\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4765\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>A depth-fogging tool is going to be a &#8216;must&#8217; for this sort of big scene.  A new one for Daz Studio 4 + iRay + a powerful PC is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/atmocam-for-iray\">AtmoCam for Iray<\/a>.  Likely to be a whole lot quicker, provided you have and know Adobe Photoshop, is making multiple pass renders with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/light-dome-pro-r\">Light Dome PRO<\/a> (Dreamlight&#8217;s successor to the very useful old Mood Master II) and then compositing them together using the Screen blend mode in Photoshop.<\/p>\n<p>Need to give Chinatown some aerial anti-gravity powered traffic, like in <em>Blade Runner<\/em>?  The AntFarm has a fine new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/floating-junk\">Floating Junk<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/junk.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/junk.jpg\" alt=\"junk\" width=\"217\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4766\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have a graphics card that lets you use DAZ Studio&#8217;s iRay rendering with any kind of speed, and you want to get a <em>Blade Runner<\/em> style &#8216;rain look&#8217; on your Chinatown scene, then Dreamlight has some new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/110776\/?AID=4737\">DAZ Studio iRay Rain Look Tutorials<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/rainl.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/rainl.jpg\" alt=\"rainl\" width=\"264\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4767\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ground level in Chinatown?  1971s&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111294\/?AID=4737\">Old town houses kit<\/a> might serve for that&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/oldhouses.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/oldhouses.jpg\" alt=\"oldhouses\" width=\"300\" height=\"175\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4768\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Or what about Coflek-Gnorg&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111260\/?AID=4737\">Cyberpunk Corner<\/a> for a Chinatown ground level scene? I love JerryJang&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111157\/?AID=4737\">CosHero for M4<\/a> suit, it looks like something out a 1980s Bilal comic in <em>Heavy Metal<\/em>.  It&#8217;s a touch expensive at present, but even so I suspect we&#8217;ll see more than a few texture-set add-ons for this one&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bilalhero.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/bilalhero.jpg\" alt=\"bilalhero\" width=\"300\" height=\"267\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4772\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And your hero&#8217;s cypherpunk underworld contact in Chinatown? A sort of hybrid between 1930s &#8216;jolly hockey sticks&#8217; girls and 1940s air cadets.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/punk.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/punk.jpg\" alt=\"punk\" width=\"230\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4786\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you have Second World War \/ World War II uniforms in your runtime, then Predatron&#8217;s detailed new miniature set <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/beach-barricade\">Beach Barricade<\/a> may well interest&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/barric.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/barric.jpg\" alt=\"barric\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4787\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>New semi-toon standalone characters are always welcome, and this month we get several of them.  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/73495\/?AID=4737\">NeftOoN Gal<\/a> comes complete with hair and clothes.  Possibly not new? Possibly just a new bundle of character + extras? Anyway, she also has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/27078\/?AID=4737\">Neftoon Pal<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/neftf.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/neftf.jpg\" alt=\"neftf\" width=\"265\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4789\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/neftm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/neftm.jpg\" alt=\"neftm\" width=\"237\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4788\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m thinking that the above two characters might be especially useful for a comic book artist making a domestic gag-strip, and looking to over-paint and\/or toon their renders in Photoshop?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111317\/?AID=4737\">Packy<\/a> the Toon Elephant is another toon standalone, for Poser 9+ only&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/packy.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/packy.jpg\" alt=\"packy\" width=\"241\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4790\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another fine character from the same maker is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.renderosity.com\/marketplace\/products\/111153?AID=4737\">Tiny<\/a>, a sort of aquatic &#8216;fire newt&#8217; , for Poser 10+ only&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/tiny.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jurn.link\/dazposer\/oldimages\/tiny.jpg\" alt=\"tiny\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4791\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<hr>\n<p>Finally, available now is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daz3d.com\/iclone-6-pro-3dxchange-bundle-22667\">iClone 6 PRO + 3DXchange Bundle + DAZ Genesis (1 &#038; 2 only) import<\/a>, currently at a 40% discount.  iClone is the mature and speedy real-time animation tool, with some excellent model and character conversion tools.
